El canto de la fábrica

In the Main Gallery, we present “El canto de la fábrica,” a new project by Tania Candiani developed through an immersion in the everyday life of the textile factory from which La Nueva Fábrica emerged: its machines, rhythms, sounds, and, above all, the people who keep it running.

The exhibition approaches the factory as a living organism, a space in which bodies and machines listen and respond to one another, together forming a choreography of work. Through this relationship, the works trace the gestures, materials, forms of knowledge, and memories embedded in textile production and transmitted across generations.
