  • INFO SESSION: ICAC’S MASTER FELLOWSHIP AT MUSEO REÍNA SOFIA

    4 APR - 4 APR, 2025

    Friday, April 4 at 9:30 a.m.

The Cáder Institute of Central American Art (ICAC) at the Reina Sofía Museum promotes the research and dissemination of Central American art and its diasporas. As part of ICAC’s program, the Reina Sofía Museum Foundation offers an annual scholarship to students of Central American origin to pursue the Master’s Degree in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture, taught by the Complutense University of Madrid and the Autonomous University of Madrid in collaboration with the Reina Sofía Museum.

The Master’s in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture is one of the most prestigious programs in its field at the national level. It has been offered since the 2009–2010 academic year at the Museum’s Study Center, with the aim of training specialists and researchers capable of both critically analyzing contemporary artistic discourse and applying such analysis to cultural management, research, and curatorial practice. To this end, the curriculum combines theoretical courses with three practical tracks.

In this info session, led by the Reina Sofía Study Center team, the Master’s program and its admission process will be presented in detail, along with the general conditions of the scholarship.
