The Decentralized Symposium: Redes as Resistance offers space for translocal exchange and connection. Developed by LA ESCUELA in conversation with MoMA PS1 (USA), Museo Universitario del Chopo (Mexico), Espacio Odeón (Colombia), and La Nueva Fábrica (Guatemala), this gathering via Zoom will connect artists, architects, researchers, curators, collective projects, and community initiatives rooted in Latin America and the Caribbean, including their global diasporas and Latine communities in the United States and Canada, to exchange perspectives, challenges, and artistic approaches to relevant local issues. The symposium will foster hemispheric dialogues to promote and strengthen translocal networks interlaced by artistic research interests.
