Antigua Chamber Music and the Center for Regional Mesoamerican Research (CIRMA) are organizing the 3rd Antigua Chamber Music Festival, which will take place from February 25 to March 1, 2025, with the support of La Nueva Fábrica, in collaboration with FUNIBER, Porta Antigua, and the Municipality of La Antigua Guatemala.
This festival will consist of three concerts featuring five virtuoso American musicians: Eric Silberger (violinist), Siwoo Kim (violinist), Matthew Lipman (violist), Daniel Lelchuk (cellist), and Kwan Yi (pianist).
Admission is free with prior reservation and ticket pickup at CIRMA until full capacity is reached – PBX: 7931-0300 (5ª Calle Oriente No. 5, La Antigua Guatemala). The final concert will be broadcast live on a screen in the central park of Santa Ana for those unable to secure a ticket.
There will be free transportation, courtesy of the Municipality of La Antigua Guatemala, between Central Park in La Antigua and Central Park in Santa Ana at the following times:
Additionally, on Tuesday, February 25, Thursday, February 27, and Saturday, March 1, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the musicians will offer two open rehearsals for the public. Students from music academies and the general public are especially invited to attend.
