Boobcaterpillar (2019), presented in Inhabiting Dialogue at La Nueva Fábrica, is an imaginary diagram about breastfeeding, inspired by the prolonged experience of nursing my daughter—where the condition of being a mammal becomes a lived experience.

Not everyone goes through motherhood, but all of us have felt that bodily bond from having come from someone else’s body.

This workshop, led by Paulina Velázquez, invites participants to imagine a sensation or memory connected to their body and its relationship with others, through drawing and the creation of three-dimensional forms.
