As part of the exhibition Cyclical Universes: Guatemala through the Eyes of Japan, we invite you to a conversation with photographer Masahiro Umoto and Anaís García Salazar, director of the Fototeca Guatemala at CIRMA.

Umoto will speak about his work in Guatemala over more than two decades, using photography to document traditions, landscapes, and everyday life. The talk will also explore the role of archives and community collaboration in preserving visual memory.
