Artist Sandra Monterroso will share the results of her recent residency at La Cité internationale des arts in Paris, France, supported by Mazorca, during which she deepened her research on colonial histories of epistemicide and situated knowledge. In this talk, the artist will discuss how this experience has influenced her current thinking and practice. She will also present her new book, The Aesthetics of Healing (Temblores, 2025).

The presentation will feature a guest panel with Silvia Trujillo and Julia Caal, who will join the conversation and broaden the discussion from their own perspectives.
