Workshop-talk with andi icaza-largaespada

Sunday, August 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

We invite you to join an Open Studio with andi icaza-largaespada, an artist in residence at La Nueva Fábrica as part of our collaboration with Hangar Barcelona, with the support of the Institut Ramon Llull.

Participants will experience a demonstration of the handmade papermaking process and learn about some of the materials and methodologies that shape the artist’s research. The activity builds on a workshop held with La Revuelta and invites reflection on image, materiality, archives, territory, and memory.

Following the demonstration, Guatemalan artist Carmen Valenzuela will moderate a conversation with andi about their processes and the possibilities of paper as a material for creation and memory.
