Saturday, August 9, at 3:00 p.m.
You’re invited to take part in a workshop led by visual artist and graphic designer Yavheni de León, one of the participants in the exhibition Inhabiting Dialogue. This space is designed to explore memory through everyday objects, the shapes that surround us, and the materials we hold onto. Using archival images, personal memories, and meaningful items, each participant will create a small visual folio through drawing, painting, collage, and other techniques guided by their own intuition.
The workshop invites us to look closely at our immediate surroundings, recognize the stories they hold, and reflect on the connections between objects, emotions, and time. With a flexible and thoughtful approach, we’ll build bridges between personal experience and collective memory.
It’ll be a day to gather processes, materials, and stories that help us inhabit the present through listening, creating, and remembering—treating memory as a living, collective act of imagination.
Free event.
