Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We invite you to the public presentation of Centro de Encuentros Culturales / CECU, an interdisciplinary project that brings together a museum, residency, and school focused on folk arts and interculturality, based between Guatemala and Chile.
The program will include a conversation with art historian Camila Caris Seguel and Miguel Domínguez from the bookstore La Sospecha, reflecting on gentrification and cultural consumption in Antigua. We will also host the hands-on workshop Intervened Object, led by artist and educator Ariz from the collective Niñas Furia, where participants will be invited to intervene carved wooden masks in an open-format exercise.
In addition, we will share a communal culinary gathering by La Cocina de la Patojada and distribute printed materials produced in collaboration with Editorial Hambre from Chile, bringing together critical dialogue, artistic creation, and community exchange within a shared space.
Limited capacity: 15 participants
