We invite you to participate in a painting workshop led by painter Uriela Cumez, as part of the public program accompanying the exhibition Xa Jun Ruk’oxomal Qanima – A Shared Heartbeat by Rosa Elena Curruchich and Angélica Serech.

Drawing from symbols, forms, and visual elements present in the art of San Juan Comalapa, this workshop proposes painting as a space for personal expression and collective memory. Participants will work on clay comales, incorporating textile references and their own narratives through the process of pictorial creation.
