La Nueva Fábrica is thrilled to announce its 2025 Artistic Professionalization Workshop Series, a four-session online program designed to strengthen the professional and technical skills of Guatemalan artists.

WORKSHOP CONTENT

1. Artist Statements (Session 1)

• Learn to write a clear and compelling artist statement.
• Focus on its significance within your artistic practice.
  Assignment: Draft an artist statement for group feedback.

2. Artistic Portfolios (Session 2)

• Understand the essentials of selecting and organizing your projects.
• Tailor your portfolio for specific readers.
  Assignment: Select and organize projects for a tailored portfolio.

3. Budgeting for Art Projects (Session 3)

• Create detailed budgets.
• Follow key funding guidelines for successful proposals.
  Assignment: Draft and refine a project budget.

4. Review and Feedback (Session 4)

• Present your statement, portfolio, and budget to the workshop peers.
• Receive professional feedback.
