The workshop, led by the Asociación de Mujeres Nuestra Voz and organized by the GuateMaya L.A. collective, offers an analysis of the origins of sexual violence in the context of the 500 years since the invasion of the territory now known as Guatemala. As part of this commemoration, we invite participants to reflect on the forms of resistance that Indigenous women’s bodies have enacted in response to sexual violence.
