LNF Residency Open Call 2027–2028

Application deadline: October 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. (Guatemala time).

La Nueva Fábrica is launching its international 2027–2028 Residency Open Call for artists, curators, and cultural practitioners of any nationality, aged 18 and over. Five research residencies of 4 to 8 weeks will be selected, taking place in Antigua Guatemala between September 2027 and June 2028. Residents are not required to produce a final work or outcome during the residency.

Each residency includes a USD 2,000 stipend, accommodation at La Nueva Fábrica, transportation to and from La Aurora International Airport, as well as curatorial and logistical support. Applications are accepted from individuals and duos, applicants with children are welcome, no formal academic degree is required, and basic Spanish is not mandatory. Applications may be submitted in English or Spanish.
