In this workshop, participants will explore the process of editing and post-producing photographs using tools available on their mobile phones. Through a hands-on approach, they will learn how to enhance images by working with light, color, contrast, and overall composition. The session will introduce essential mobile editing techniques, including adjustments to exposure, shadows, temperature, saturation, sharpness, and cropping, with an emphasis on maintaining visual coherence, intention, and a natural look.
Participants will also learn how to prepare images for social media and digital platforms while preserving quality and consistency. A practical introduction to transforming photographs directly from a mobile device and achieving more expressive, balanced, and professional results.
Participants are required to bring their own mobile phone.
JuanRo García Soria
Guatemalan photographer. He graduated from the Diploma Program in Photography and Photographic Project Management at La Fototeca. Since 2016, he has served as Academic Coordinator at the institution, where he also teaches photography courses and offers personalized training. He is the founder of Estudio Iridiscente, a commercial photography studio dedicated to producing images for a wide range of brands. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with companies and organizations including Rev Studio, Alessa Rocks, Gento Coffee, Bang Bang POP, Studio Atlas Design, among others.
