This gathering offers an intimate approach to Angélica’s artistic practice, where the artist will share the processes, references, materials, and decisions that shape her work. We will discuss her context, trajectory, and the cultural, territorial, and personal influences that nourish her practice. The conversation will also explore research methodologies, modes of production, and relationships with the community.

Afterwards, we will take part in a guided tour of the exhibition, where Angélica will speak about the works in her own voice, opening a space for dialogue, questions, and collective interpretation. An opportunity to connect directly with the artist and gain deeper insight into the meanings behind the works on view.

This space seeks to encourage critical exchange, active listening, and the creation of new sensitive readings of contemporary practices in Guatemala and within today’s diverse and complex regional context.
